Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for semiconductor equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium).
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and process engineering teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into semiconductor equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and failure mode analysis to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Oversee the prototyping, debugging, and validation of electrical designs through rigorous testing and simulation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in electrical design methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing teams to source high-quality components and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical design, with at least 3 years in semiconductor equipment or a highly regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, medical devices).
- Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or Mentor Graphics.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, PCB design, and EMC/EMI compliance.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems under pressure.
- Familiarity with IEC, UL, CE, and ISO standards for electrical safety and quality.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
