Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and document electronics manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to design and implement process improvements for hardware components.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and maintain process control parameters to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC).
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput, and lower production costs.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing and validating manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in electronics manufacturing and recommend process upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, or hardware development.
- Strong knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB assembly, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW) and statistical analysis (Six Sigma, DOE).
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and process validation (PPAP, FMEA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, TPM) is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong technical documentation skills.
