In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation and monitoring of quality standards and procedures across our production facilities, ensuring compliance with international regulations and customer requirements. Based in Badung, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust quality control systems, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, and customer-specific standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to address non-conformities in products and processes.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to integrate quality controls into new product introductions (NPI).
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production lines, materials, and finished goods to maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Train and mentor staff on quality protocols, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations in all quality-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related); Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in manufacturing (electronics preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC-A-600, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or similar is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with audit management (internal/external) and supplier quality assurance.
- Proficiency in quality software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab, or equivalent) and MS Office Suite.
