Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems, components, and upgrades in compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, identifying potential hazards or inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using digital or manual logging systems.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes, as well as company safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operational staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, PLCs, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards, including LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and safety-first mindset.
