Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns with minimal downtime.
- Inspect, test, and calibrate electrical components, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical upgrades, installations, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of electrical spare parts.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, PLCs, and automation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging cameras).
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E, IEC, or SNI standards for electrical safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
