As an E&I Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our technical operations, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest industry standards. You will work closely with project managers and site teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that support major plant turnarounds, construction projects, and routine maintenance activities. Responsibility
- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems on-site.
- Develop and review technical drawings, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Supervise site technicians and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and according to specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on PLC, DCS, SCADA, and various field instruments.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor technical bids and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with Singapore Standards (CP 5) and international safety regulations like ATEX/IECEx.
- Prepare detailed project progress reports, inspection reports, and final handover documentation for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industry.
- Proven expertise in managing instrumentation projects and field electrical works.
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and calibration procedures for various sensors and transmitters.
- Strong understanding of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements in a refinery or plant setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite for technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams under tight deadlines.
