Responsibility

  • Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of electrical power distribution systems for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy efficiency and reduce operational costs in high-density computing environments.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure, including transformers, switchgear, and UPS systems.
  • Support the troubleshooting and resolution of electrical faults, outages, or performance issues in mission-critical systems.
  • Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate future growth and technological advancements.
  • Document technical specifications, schematics, and operational procedures for electrical systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in data center power management, such as renewable energy integration and smart grid solutions.
  • Assist in risk assessments and safety audits to ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a graduation date by 2027.
  • Strong foundation in power systems, circuit design, and electrical safety principles.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and redundancy protocols (a plus).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and electrical simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to technical challenges.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
