Responsibility
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using CAD tools and simulation software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into broader aerospace solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical prototypes to meet performance and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in electrical design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company policies, industry standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD), and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or Mentor Graphics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuit design, power distribution, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Experience with testing and validation methodologies, including environmental and functional testing.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD-461) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with global teams.
