Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic tests on electric bike systems, including batteries, motors, and controllers, to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as brake adjustments, tire replacements, gear tuning, and electrical component checks.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including wiring, displays, and charging systems, using specialized tools and equipment.
- Assemble and customize new e-bikes according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts inventory using digital or manual logging systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues and solutions in clear, non-technical terms.
- Collaborate with the team to develop preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of the e-bike fleet.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in e-bike technology and industry best practices through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bike mechanic, with specific expertise in electric bikes (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including battery management, motor diagnostics, and wiring.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic software, and specialized e-bike repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management and service documentation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy components (up to 25 kg) and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with international clients and team members.
