Responsibility
- Coordinate and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain EHS management systems, including documentation and reporting.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on EHS best practices.
- Monitor environmental compliance and ensure adherence to local and international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Certification in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and tools.
