Responsibility
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in children through interactive activities and play-based learning.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing individualized support and feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administrators to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, field trips, and special events to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and developmental milestones for each child.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in the classroom and during all activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to diverse classroom dynamics.
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other progressive teaching methodologies is a plus.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) for child safety.
