Responsibility
- Manage and record daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments, with meticulous accuracy.
- Reconcile high-volume data from multiple e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Amazon) to ensure consistency and integrity.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and track inventory costs, sales performance, and marketplace fees to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate anomalies, and resolve financial issues in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, etc.) and marketplace financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional data accurately.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
