Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest services, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and train front desk staff to maintain exceptional service standards and foster a positive work environment.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Monitor room availability, reservations, and allocations to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and operational challenges.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and service standards across the front office team.
- Prepare daily reports on front office activities, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as medical incidents or security concerns, with calm and effective leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a front office or guest services role within the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in high-volume, luxury, or resort environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations diplomatically.
- Bachelorās degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
