Responsibility
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and documents to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages and messages, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logs, and any relevant documentation.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver or messenger, preferably in a logistics or delivery environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or driving are a plus.
