Responsibility
- Conduct drive tests to evaluate network performance, coverage, and quality in designated areas.
- Collect and analyze data using specialized tools and software to identify network issues and areas for improvement.
- Generate detailed reports and presentations summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement solutions and optimize network performance.
- Perform benchmarking tests to compare network performance against competitors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues identified during drive tests.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in network testing and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards during field operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Drive Test Engineer or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficiency in using drive test tools and software such as TEMS, XCAL, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of 4G/5G network technologies and protocols is a plus.
