Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for structural and product engineering projects using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation for easy reference.
- Assist in the preparation of project timelines and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior draftsmen and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in structural or product engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
