Responsibility
- Develop and refine 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks for sheet metal and welding projects.
- Convert customer-provided 3D models into accurate, production-ready drawings with adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with specifications.
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and finalized drawings.
- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve design-related queries.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting software and industry best practices.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of drafting processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in sheet metal or welding manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software (AutoCAD is a plus).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical specifications.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with ISO or other relevant industry standards is an advantage.
