Responsibility
- Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive IT system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and project managers to gather and interpret technical information.
- Create and update system diagrams, workflows, and process documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Review and edit documentation for technical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Conduct research and interviews to gather information from subject matter experts and end-users.
- Ensure documentation is user-friendly and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage documentation version control and ensure timely updates in alignment with system changes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on system documentation and usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Documentation Analyst, Technical Writer, or similar role in the IT industry.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or MadCap Flare.
- Knowledge of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and technical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple documentation projects.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
