Responsibility
- Process and verify import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth import operations.
- Translate and interpret Mandarin documents and communications to support cross-border transactions.
- Maintain organized records of import/export documentation and track shipment statuses.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues related to import documentation in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries of import activities for management review.
- Stay updated on changes in import regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the logistics team as needed.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within logistics or international trade.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
