Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the integrity of engineering documents, including 2D/3D designs, project specifications, and compliance records, using advanced document management systems.
- Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, version-controlled, and accessible to authorized team members in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review, update, and distribute design documents, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers to track document revisions, approvals, and archival processes, maintaining a clear audit trail for compliance purposes.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce errors in project execution.
- Provide training and support to team members on document management best practices and software tools.
- Monitor document security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports on document status, discrepancies, and resolution timelines for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, compliance requirements, and engineering documentation best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural setting is a plus.
