Responsibility
- Manage and control all project-related documents, including contracts, technical drawings, reports, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain a robust document management system to facilitate efficient retrieval, version control, and distribution of documents.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Monitor document workflows, track revisions, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Perform regular audits of document repositories to identify discrepancies, outdated information, or missing files, and take corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to team members on document management best practices and tools.
- Ensure all documents are securely stored, backed up, and protected from unauthorized access or loss.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for project close-out, including archiving and handover to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role, preferably in the energy, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to document control and management.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) is a plus.
