Responsibility
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales, margin growth, and inventory turnover across assigned divisions.
- Lead pricing and promotional planning, ensuring alignment with market demand, competitive positioning, and company objectives.
- Collaborate with buying teams to curate product assortments that meet customer preferences and regional trends in Bali.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize stock allocation to minimize overstock and stockouts.
- Analyze sales performance, market data, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to negotiate favorable terms, ensure product quality, and maintain timely deliveries.
- Train and mentor merchandising teams, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on merchandising KPIs, including sales, gross margin, and inventory metrics, to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving margins, and optimizing inventory in a multi-store retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in retail management software, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis in the retail sector.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
