Responsibility
- Supervise and manage daily disbursement activities, including vendor payments, payroll processing, and expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Oversee accurate and timely bookkeeping, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial reconciliations.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and guidance to ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including cash flow statements, budget variances, and disbursement summaries, to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and HR, to streamline financial processes and improve operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, auditing requirements, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to automate processes and enhance data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in disbursement, bookkeeping, or financial supervision, preferably in the hospitality, real estate, or tourism industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a finance or accounting team.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
