Bintan Lagoon Resort is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Director of People & Culture to join our executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our brand culture and the architect of our human capital strategy. Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive People & Culture strategy that aligns with the resort's overall business goals and brand values.
- Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver exceptional service and support across the organization.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, productivity, and retention within the resort.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations, managing industrial relations and union interactions effectively.
- Design and implement robust training and development programs to enhance the skills and career growth of all team members.
- Advise senior leadership on organizational design, culture change, and workforce planning.
- Manage the HR budget and provide data-driven insights to improve organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury resort sector.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law (Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan) and industrial relations practices.
- Proven track record of driving culture change and improving employee engagement scores.
- Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on, operational approach.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHRi, SPHRi, or local Indonesian certification) is highly desirable.
