Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of CMP engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to drive process improvements and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for 300mm CMP processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
- Oversee the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of CMP processes to enhance yield, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to integrate CMP processes into overall semiconductor production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize process efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all CMP operations.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and equipment for CMP processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in semiconductor manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on CMP processes.
- Proven expertise in 300mm CMP process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data for process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to semiconductor manufacturing and CMP processes.
