Responsibility
- Develop and execute a global air procurement strategy to optimize cost, efficiency, and service quality.
- Lead negotiations with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to secure competitive contracts.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Implement data-driven analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Drive innovation in air freight solutions, including sustainability initiatives and digital transformation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a global procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in air procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of negotiating high-value contracts with airlines and logistics providers.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in global logistics operations, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
