Responsibility
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including guest seating, order management, and service flow to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of servers, hosts, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation in dining areas, bar, and guest interaction zones.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution and a positive experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to coordinate menu changes, promotions, and special events.
- Manage inventory of dining supplies, glassware, and utensils, and liaise with vendors for timely replenishment.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, staff briefings, and performance evaluations to align the team with daily goals and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including COVID-19 protocols and local hospitality laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or high-volume restaurants.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and managing front-of-house teams.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other Asian languages) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak service times.
- Familiarity with POS systems, reservation platforms, and basic inventory management tools.
- Certification in hospitality management, food safety, or related fields is an advantage.
