Responsibility
- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during dialysis procedures, including vital signs, fluid balance, and machine functionality, to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Assess and document patient responses to treatment, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to the medical team promptly.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques to promote long-term health and compliance.
- Maintain and operate dialysis equipment, ensuring proper sterilization, calibration, and adherence to infection control standards.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families, addressing their concerns and fostering a compassionate care environment.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., JCI, ISO).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Nursing (D3/S1 Keperawatan) from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license (STR) from the Indonesian Nursing Council (PPNI).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing or critical care; fresh graduates with relevant clinical rotations will be considered.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hemodialysis principles, renal anatomy, and nephrology care.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work setting.
