Responsibility
- Provide first-level IT support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows/macOS systems, applications, and network connectivity problems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other identity management systems.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security configurations to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to long-term IT infrastructure improvements.
- Document all support requests, solutions, and follow-up actions in the IT ticketing system for tracking and reporting.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding employees, including setting up workstations and ensuring data security compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, and enterprise software.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and basic troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to contract-based employment with potential for extension based on performance.
