Responsibility
- Provide timely and effective desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, printer, and other IT-related problems.
- Ensure all desktop systems are updated with the latest security patches and software updates.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy new software applications and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets, and resolutions.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new user accounts and access permissions.
- Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with hardware components, networking principles, and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
