Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the Operating Theatre (OT) nursing team, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to coordinate patient care, optimize workflows, and minimize risks during procedures.
- Mentor and train nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and teamwork.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the OT nursing team, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, coordinating with procurement and maintenance teams as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance programs, audits, and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the Operating Theatre in alignment with hospital guidelines and industry standards.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing team, hospital administration, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent; Master's degree in Nursing Administration or related field is a plus.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in an Operating Theatre, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make critical decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
