Responsibility
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to attract high-value corporate clients, event organizers, and international partners to Sentosa’s premium venues.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Event Conceptualization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored event packages, including themed festivities, team-building activities, and luxury experiences.
- Revenue Optimization: Monitor market trends, analyze competitor offerings, and adjust pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal departments (marketing, operations, F&B) and external vendors to ensure flawless event delivery.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling, data-driven proposals and presentations to win bids for large-scale events and corporate bookings.
- Performance Tracking: Set KPIs, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management on progress and ROI.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Sentosa at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance its global reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in corporate sales, event management, or hospitality, with at least 2 years in a managerial or deputy role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the MICE industry, luxury travel, or destination marketing, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Sales Acumen: Strong track record in B2B sales, negotiation, and closing high-value deals (IDR 500M+ per contract preferred).
- Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor a sales team, delegate tasks, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Communication Excellence: Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and data analytics platforms.
- Creative Problem-Solver: Adept at thinking outside the box to overcome challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.
