Responsibility
- Process and submit dental insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for dental services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US dental billing regulations and coding standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address billing discrepancies and improve revenue cycle performance.
- Generate and analyze reports to track billing performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental or medical billing, preferably with US accounts.
- Proficiency in dental billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with US-based clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in medical billing (e.g., CPC, CPB) is a plus.
