Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive chairside assistance to dentists during general and specialist procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and providing post-treatment instructions.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and functionality.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the dental team to optimize clinic workflow and patient scheduling.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using dental software and digital radiography systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
