Responsibility
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models to predict product needs across multiple sales channels.
- Lead ABC analysis to categorize inventory and optimize stock levels for high, medium, and low-demand items.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply ordering with demand forecasts.
- Design and execute replenishment strategies to ensure optimal inventory turnover and minimize stockouts or overstock.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turnover.
- Analyze market trends, seasonal patterns, and historical data to refine demand planning processes.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
- Work closely with IT teams to enhance demand planning tools and systems for improved efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
- Proficient in demand forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Experience with ABC analysis, safety stock calculations, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with retail KPIs (e.g., GMROI, sell-through rates, days of supply).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
