Responsibility

  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to clients with overdue payments, ensuring polite and professional communication.
  • Negotiate repayment plans and settlements that align with company policies and client capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities, including call logs, payment promises, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to verify account details and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear and empathetic explanations of payment terms, late fees, and potential consequences of non-payment.
  • Monitor and report on collection performance metrics, including recovery rates and aging reports.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines governing debt collection practices in Indonesia.
  • Identify and escalate high-risk accounts that may require legal intervention or alternative recovery strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in debt collection, customer service, or a related financial role.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and handle rejection in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with financial services, banking products, or collection software is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Willingness to work in Denpasar, Badung, with possible occasional travel to other Bali regions.
