Responsibility
- Execute and document network changes using WFM ticketing systems (e.g., NetCare Cloud) to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on datacom equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and configure new network hardware and software solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
- Provide technical support for cloud-based network services and hybrid infrastructure.
- Conduct capacity planning and recommend upgrades to optimize network scalability.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO) and company security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in datacom maintenance, network engineering, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking devices and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP).
- Proficiency in using network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, NetCare Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
