Responsibility
- Design, plan, and execute end-to-end data migration projects for enterprise clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and cleansing to identify and resolve inconsistencies before migration.
- Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between source and target systems.
- Create and maintain data mapping documents, ensuring alignment between legacy and new systems.
- Conduct thorough data reconciliation and validation to verify migration accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and address migration challenges.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure data integrity.
- Document migration processes, risks, and resolutions for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or data integration roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize migration processes.
- Experience with data reconciliation, validation, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
