Responsibility
- Lead and oversee end-to-end data migration projects for core banking systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, validation rules, and cutover plans.
- Conduct thorough data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure high-quality migration outcomes.
- Design and execute test plans to validate data migration results and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Document migration processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards throughout the migration lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data migration, with a focus on core banking or financial systems.
- Strong expertise in ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling techniques.
