Responsibility
- Analyze and assess source data systems to identify migration requirements and potential challenges.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Design and execute data mapping and migration scripts using ETL tools and SQL.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated data to ensure integrity and completeness.
- Document data migration processes, procedures, and outcomes for future reference.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new data systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data migration, ETL processes, or data management roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
