Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain data governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define data models, metadata standards, and taxonomy frameworks.
- Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures to enhance accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and automate data workflows to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and distribution processes.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to uncover insights and recommend improvements for data architecture.
- Support the migration and integration of data across enterprise systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Document data lineage, dictionaries, and business glossaries to facilitate transparency and usability.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on data management best practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, data governance, or business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio), and ETL processes.
- Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon) and metadata management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with financial services data standards (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or similar are advantageous.
