Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data integration and analytics.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Automate data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely manner.
- Document data processes, pipelines, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
