Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support financial analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines and databases.
- Implement ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
- Document data architecture, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Experience in the financial services or fintech industry is a plus.
