Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the data centre, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance of critical systems.
- Manage facility infrastructure, including power, cooling, HVAC, and security systems, to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
- Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, emergency response plans, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement green initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate upgrades, repairs, and expansions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, TIA-942) and local regulations for data centre operations.
- Prepare and present reports on facility performance, budgeting, and risk assessments to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre or facility management, with a proven track record in leading teams.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory for cross-border communication.
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire suppression.
- Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional), PMP, or ITIL are highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with Bali’s regulatory landscape for data centres is a plus.
