Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot hardware and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power) to maintain data center integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new hardware and upgrade existing systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with AWS standards.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a secure working environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data center operations, server hardware, or network support.
- Strong knowledge of server architectures, networking protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
