Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of data center equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with remote teams to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards to safeguard data integrity.
- Provide on-site support during critical operations, including system migrations and disaster recovery drills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking principles, and data center environments.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques for hardware and software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
