Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end data center operations, including critical infrastructure (power, cooling, networking, and security systems) to ensure 99.99% uptime and compliance with Oracle’s global standards.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data center technicians, engineers, and vendors, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, disaster recovery plans, and capacity management initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with global Oracle teams to align local operations with corporate policies, security protocols, and sustainability goals (e.g., energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction).
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and facility services, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and SLA adherence, presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives, leveraging IoT, AI, and predictive analytics to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, Uptime Institute Tier Certifications) and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CDCP, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in data center operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing critical infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in data center design, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and network cabling.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, ANSI/BICSI) and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure) and their integration with on-premise data centers.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to stakeholder manage across technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (including on-call rotations) and travel occasionally to other Oracle sites in Southeast Asia.
