Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, HVAC, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Respond rapidly to facility-related incidents, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to restore operations.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, expansions, or migrations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, ISO 27001).
- Manage vendor relationships for equipment procurement, repairs, and service contracts.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions in a structured ticketing system.
- Optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., CDCP, CFOT, PMP) are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data center facility management, critical infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, cooling systems, UPS, generators, and fire safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience with BMS (Building Management Systems), SCADA, or DCIM tools.
- Ability to work in shift rotations (including nights/weekends) and respond to on-call emergencies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and local regulatory compliance for data centers.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with global teams.
