Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on servers, switches, and other data center equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and organize cabling infrastructure to maintain a clean and efficient data center environment.
- Conduct asset management tasks, including inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and support for data center-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with on-site teams and vendors to facilitate smooth operations and resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor data center environments, including temperature, humidity, and power systems, to prevent potential issues.
- Assist in the implementation of security protocols and best practices to safeguard data center assets.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent data center incidents outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Basic knowledge of server hardware, networking principles, and data center operations.
- Familiarity with cabling standards, asset management tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or similar are a plus but not required.
