Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data center critical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and environmental controls.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test new control systems and automation solutions.
- Respond to emergency alerts and incidents, diagnosing issues and restoring service with minimal downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities, system configurations, and operational procedures in compliance with Googleâs standards.
- Assist in the design and deployment of new data center infrastructure, ensuring scalability and energy efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in data center technology and best practices for facility management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, generators, and cooling technologies used in data centers.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems), SCADA, or industrial control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CFM, DCIM, or vendor-specific training (e.g., Schneider, Vertiv) are a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial but not required.
